IN CHRIST ALONE

In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My comforter, my all in all—
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev'ry sin on Him was laid—
Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay,
Light of the world by darkness slain;
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine—
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

No guilt in life, no fear in death—
This is the pow'r of Christ in me;
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home—
Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand.

There is sweetness in the pies
Birds in the skies
Leaves on the trees
And happy buzzing bees
Birds on the heads
Cows in the shed
Rivers flowing by
Eagles sky high
Students in the class
Hiding love sparks
Teachers eating heads
I wishing that I was on bed
Bracelets on the wrist
A soft cloudy mist
Smiles on the face
Eyes gleaming with craze
Cars on the road
Workers carrying load
Planes at a height
Armies showing their might
Look left and right
See everything in perfect light
Dreams flying high
And in this dream I.

From cradle to the Grave
Our life is a wave
Of sorrows and joy
Crashing at the shores of our heart by and by
The man who survives
Is the one who from temptation flies
Forgetting the past, leaving it all behind
Breaking the ropes of guilt that bind.

To Jesus with Luv

In the swamp of sin I struggled
In every step of mine I fumbled
You opened the eyes of my Heart
Held my hand and gave me a start

Now I wanna be led by your love
Teach me Lord and tell me how
That I may remain in your grace forever
And be filled with love's shower

Time flies by
Still i crave for life
No one knows what's in
I am trapped deep within

N now u wonder y

Funny dat u shud evn think bout it
Wen u hav thrown my lyf in d bin

I laugh wen those dys i remember
I cry coz we r never gonna b 2gether
Y, o boy did u evn pretend

Wherevr u b
I know u wil b happy
coz u nvr needed me
u wont evn remember me
In ur eyes i shal never see
d luv I dreamed 4 me

Nw i Know nt who to blame
Neither u who showed me heaven's bliss
Nor me who was touched wid Luv's kiss

Few words from my heart

A sincere apology to all my teachers during whose lectures I had spent my time writing these poems just to keep myself from falling asleep. Lectures have been very useful to me to in the sense that they have kindled my creative imagination. So read on………
**********************************************************************************
You are stuck in my heart
Look in my eyes
You will see a hundred stars
A river flowing high
A land full of scars
‘Cause you are stuck in my heart
**********************************************************************************
Holding on to little threads of hope
Wishing a brighter tomorrow would crop
**********************************************************************************
Living life, living free
This is how it’s all meant to be
Live it up Today
Tomorrow’s worries keep at bay
‘Cause happiness is here to stay
**********************************************************************************
Badal gaya hai aasmaan
Badal gayi ye zindagi
Jo na chaha who hua
Aankhon mein bhar aayi name
Jaane kyun ye hai likha
Zindagi ke panon mein kahin
Dard ka ye silsila
Dil se jaata kyun nahi

My letter writing experience.... the best one i had ever written

This is the letter I had written to my sister. It was an innovative ice-breaker between us two. Whenever we fought we used to write letters to each other to express our feelings. Crazy, I know, but we still laugh every time we read them. I hope you find something in the letter below - the love between us two and the crazy things we did....

To Rini

From Annie

You must not have expected this from me (or maybe you must have).
This is not an apology letter or something like that. But this is one of my creative and brilliant idea to bring to your notice your behaviour and my problems. Hope you like it!
Since i cannot give you two kicks for boring me to death (you see i am civilized and well mannered), I have come with this innovative idea of conveying my anger and frustration to you. I promise you that what you are going to read ahead will hurt you as much as two strong kicks and a hard slap. So cheers!!
If you do not understand any word, please do not trouble yourself by asking any help from me to understand the same. Feel free to use the dictionary. It's always open for you. Help yourself!!

Sub: Letter filled with fury

Dear good-for-nothing sis,

Though pink is the colour of joy and excitement, I have chosen this colour to express anger and frustration. Actually you can take it this way - I am finding great joy in scolding you.
You dimwit, though I have told you repeatedly to change your ways, you have not heeded my words. So you have brought me to the level of giving you a hard punishment i.e. reading (my letter). I could think of no other punishment that might torture you so much. I am so filled with anger that words are not enough to express it.
With lots of slaps and shoutings,

yours highly frustrated sis,
Annie

Sub: Letter of advice
Dear Rini,
Give me one good reason why you sulk the whole day. You always seem to be in an irritable mood. You either want to sleep or do some cupboard cleaning work. Don't you feel your life is monotonous? You yourself get bored and at the same time bore me too.
Since your habits and behaviour are affecting me too, I have come up with a novel idea of writing these things to you. Allow me to give you some tips to make your life exciting. So here we go -
a) Complete your work on time
b) Do not shun your responsibilities
c) Try and spend more time with me
d) Obey your parents in everything

I hope to see an 'improvised' Rini tomorrow. With lots of love,

expecting the best from you,
Annie

Enjoying what is known as life

"Enjoying life" - What's that? It is all in the mind. It's the way we think that makes our life bright or dull. This is because what we think manifests itself into action in real life, knowingly or unknowingly. What we choose to think today affects our tomorrow. That is why it is said that "Now is the point of power!" Make your life beautiful by directing your thoughts to be productive and choose to think the right thing, because 'YOU' hold the key to your future. And in the midst of this all, let not anything or anyone deter you from creating your destiny. For ultimately you are the one who shall bear the consequences. If something is holding you back, pulling you down, just let it go. Nothing or noone can become a roadblock to your path of progress. Remember this and keep it afixed in your heart always. Do decide what you have got to do. This could be the start of something new. Break free from the binds that have got you.

BREAK FREE..!!!!!

Above all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
Proverbs 4:23
Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”
